What people ask before ordering

Detailed questions by service

Can we work remotely?

Yes, in most cases. If a personal visit or a power of attorney is needed, we will tell you before the work begins

What if I don't know where to look for the document?

Come with whatever information you have. During the initial assessment we will identify which archives or authorities may hold the records you need

Do I need a power of attorney?

It depends on the document, the country and the authority's requirements. We will check in advance whether your task needs one

How long does the work take?

It depends on the service, the country and the authority. We will give you an estimated timeframe before the work begins. How quickly archives and state bodies respond is up to them

What if the archive did not find the record?

A negative reply from one archive does not always mean the records do not exist. We will check possible alternative sources and suggest a further search if there are grounds for it

How is confidentiality kept?

We use your information and documents only to carry out the order and do not publish them. Where needed, we set out confidentiality terms in the contract

How does payment work?

We agree the payment procedure and stages before the work begins, based on the chosen service and the scope of the task
